An Eagle Project

My 16 year old is finally getting something done on his Eagle project. He's been doing so great at getting it all organized himself.
Marker Holders for Primary Children's Hospital.

Just a block of wood, drilled holes, painted, varnished and markers glued in (caps down) so the markers just come out and lids don't get lost.

We got he whole family involved! Plus a lot of friends. Thanks sooo much to all who came to help out!

Notice how many of those friends are young women! Thanks to the girls for coming through for us. We really probably should have checked with the young men's schedules before planning...

They've turned out really cute. If we can just get the markers in there! :) It'll happen. We might need to re-drill a few of the holes. With paint and varnish they've gotten a little tight.

I'm thinking about making one of these for my family to use. They look pretty handy.

One Eagle Project under way. Only 3 more to go. I guess we have a few years though.

  1. I'm totally jealous that you are done! But that is awesome. Good for Justin! And for you. :)

  2. Not totally done yet. There are issues to work out and he has to write it all up. Hopefully we can get a few more hours...

  3. Gram is so proud!!! (And also glad it's something that she no longer has to deal with...)
