Black and White and Blue (for a girl)

Owen's Kindergarten teacher is having a baby girl.
In fact if she doesn't have it this weekend, her last day is this Monday.

We went with a girly black, white and blue instead of the traditional PINK.

Some of the fabric (the Blue one and the black, white and grey butterflies)
I found at the thrift shop.
50 cents per piece!

So again...pretty cheap quilt.

And this one went together even faster than the the squares!!

When the front was put together, I ended up with a too-small piece for the back.
I had to get creative and add a little blue.

  2. Love it! What a lucky kindergarten teacher to get such a beautiful quilt for her baby.

I keep forgetting to tell you that I finished my sweater. I'm mostly happy with it. Need to take pictures. Now I've made one sock! It's pretty cool! But I have to make the other one, and that's not as fun. They are going to be for Jon.

  3. Wow that is fabulous. I really love it and all your quilts seem to go very nicely with your house. It would be hard for me to give them up when they turn out so cute.

  4. Wow! I never cease to be amazed. And Erin, you too and I want to see pics of the sweater and sock! Cam, you are amazing too! I think Jaycee will knit (or crochet) enough so you can show off too (for having a daughter who can do that!).
